Abhilash L R is a frontend engineer with a passion for solving 0-1 problems and building reusable, scalable, and accessible UI for all. He believes in quality of work over quantity of work and has over 11 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, Abhilash is a Staff Engineer at drivetrain, where he built the frontend from scratch with an eye for detail and made the foundation strong. The frontend is now more like Lego pieces, where any new developer can come in, pitch in, and get things to production quickly. Before joining drivetrain, Abhilash worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer at rocketlane, where he set up the frontend team from scratch and built the Rocketlane app using React, Redux, and websockets. He also worked as a Lead Software Engineer - Frontend at Freshworks, where he built Freshworks Bot capabilities using Freddy and built Answerbot from scratch using EmberJS and micro Frontend in mind. Abhilash was the mastermind behind scaling this single built architecture for three products - Freshdesk, Freshchat, and Freshcaller for the first time ever in the company using Ember Engines. Abhilash holds a BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University. He also attended SBOA School & Junior College, where he studied Computer Science. Abhilash's tech stack includes Frontend, UI, Redux, Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. He is a founding team member of Atomicwork and is passionate about building scalable and accessible UI for all.
